The Cottages are situated on just less than 2 acres of beautiful property, where although within minutes of state of the art sporting facilities, is within minutes of state of the art sporting facilities, hospitals and shops. Upon arrival, it is evident why the property is named what Anembo (Indigenous word meaning Peace & Tranquility or Quite place), because that is very much what you experience as you enjoy the quiet & privacy of the Cottages, excepting the bird life of the bush (oh and of our chooks and rooster!)!

As a family, we have travelled both overseas and within Australia and are always up for an adventure, whether roughing it, although more common these days, glamping! Fishing - Floyd’s in, no matter how many hours it takes to get there & the more remote, the bigger the adventure! We love being able to share our gorgeous property with others and adding those special touches to make your stay more enjoyable!

Neighbourhood highlights The Cottage is conveniently located within 5 minutes drive of Eatons Hill Hotel (a well known establishment hosting various events such as world renown artists, poker tournaments, weddings), and located within 5 minutes drive of Southpine Sporting Complex which hosts all manner of regional, state and national sporting events. The Cottage is located within 10 metres of the world class Pine Rivers BMX track in Brendale, which also hosts regional, state and national competing events. We have been lucky enough to host on a number of occasions the "youngest" member of the Australian Men's Archery team, Jai Crawley, where the Cottage is located within 15 minutes of Samford Valley Archery facility, which hosts national archery events. The Cottage is located within 15 minutes of the gorgeous township of Samford, 15 minutes from Clear Mountain which features a number of beautiful bush walks, 25 minutes drive to the gorgeous town of Dayboro, 45 minutes from Woodford, which hosts the famous Woodford Pub and within 15 minutes you can be enjoying all that Old Petrie Town offers you by way of the Hotel, the many stalls, entertainment and quaint shops such as the 'old lolly shop and able to access a range of unique Indigenous artifacts. Getting around Unless attending a poker tournament or some other event at the Eatons Hill Hotel, we recommend you have your own transport to maximise your enjoyment of the surrounding areas of the Cottage, whether that be sporting, bush walking or fossicking through the beautiful country towns of Samford, Dayboro, Old Petrie Town and Woodford. If you do not have your own transport, most facilities are accessible, with minimal cost to access trains and buses and/or taxis, ubers, etc.
