Barnville @ Bremer Bed & Breakfast is a barn style accommodation with a modern twist located in the beautiful township of Bremer Bay in West Australia's Great Southern Region. Bremer Bay is the Western Gateway to the magnificent Fitzgerald National Park and home to the Bremer Canyon Killer Whale Expeditions which run from the first week in January through to the end of April each year.
The house is located in the new land release area of town and offers three ground floor guest rooms each with their own private bathroom and toilet. We cater for single, twin sharing, couples and families. Each room has a lounge area to relax in and a smart TV with Netflix etc. for private viewing.
Breakfast is served in the guest dining room, also on the ground floor.
Guests have access to all areas of the barn with the upstairs area used for guest socialising and relaxation with a free to air TV, lounge settee, casual chairs & game tables (Chess/Backgammon & Checkers), tea/coffee facilities and a refrigerator with designated room shelves.
There is also a balcony for guests to use on the upper level along with a powder room to save climbing the stairs more times than needed.
For the adults, Barnville is within walking distance of the new Brewery, the local Hotel and Telegraph Cafe and for the family/kids there is the fabulous new Skate Park and all it has to offer at the end of the street.
Hi, we are Colin and Yolly and have been visitors and part time residents of Bremer Bay for the past 15 years managing the property on the short-term holiday market for the last 10 years.
After recently retiring from our engineering business in Perth and renovated the property, this has now allowed us to offer a full bed and breakfast service to our guests.
We love everything about Bremer Bay and its surrounds and enjoy all it has to offer and wish to share this with our guests.
You will find us friendly folk and we cannot wait to meet face to face with our new B&B guests as opposed to only being able to chat over the internet as was the case with all previous clientele as we lived outside of the area.
Here's to happy days.
As mentioned earlier in the 'About the Property' brief, the house is located close to everything in town allowing for safe commuting at all times of the day when enjoying he great things Bremer Bay has to offer its visitors.
We have a magnificent array of beaches in/around Bremer and on both sided of the playground that is Point Henry.
Different times of the year offer different things to the visitor, from whale watching from the land at Point Anne in the Fitzgerald National Park to the sea adventures where there is nothing else like the killer whale sightings and happenings off the Bremer coast. The magnificent wildflowers, many only found in the area. Four-wheel driving on many tracks and beaches in the area also. Then there's the fishing to enjoy, with or without a boat, plenty of variety here.
There is great diving/snorkeling to be done too, with sightings of Sea Dragons found around the headland of Point Henry.
There's the Welstead Museum to visit also and here you will find another fabulous little cafe to enjoy refreshments.
Other eateries mentioned earlier include.
