This property is your ideal retreat if you're seeking a peaceful and private stay in a central location, just a a few doors down from the popular Stuart Park, leading to the vibrant beach and all that North Beach has to offer. Your main Queen bedroom, tucked away on the first floor, offers a serene escape with an ensuite and private balcony overlooking Fairy Creek and a neighbouring garden. Your second Queen bedroom has a balcony overlooking the tree-lined yard. In the cosy 3rd bedroom you'll find comfortable twin beds. All bedrooms have reverse-cycle airconditioning for year-round comfort. This is strictly a non-smoking property, inside and out, including balconies, courtyards, driveway and all common spaces. Guests have full, exclusive access to the house: three bedrooms, all bathrooms and all living areas. The garage is not presently available for parking. There is one visitor space for a standard car/SUV/4WD (no trailers, large vans etc), shared with a neighbour but nearly always available. There is free 24/7 parking on all the surrounding streets. Please note, this property is not suitable for pets.

I am a local girl through and through, having done all my schooling in the Illawarra, from Kindergarten right up to Masters degree. I love live music, trivia and the outdoors: I do as much hiking and cycling as time permits. Until recently I lived in this house and ran it as a traditional B&B. I loved meeting the diverse and wonderful guests who visited Wollongong for many different reasons: work, tourism, university, sky diving and temporary accommodation while moving to the region. 3 ex guests who moved to Wollongong are now good friends of mine! All good things come to an end but I am sure I will still love hosting, albeit more hands off

If you’re looking for a spot that hits that perfect "holiday mode" vibe without being too hectic, North Wollongong is honestly where it’s at. It’s got a much more laid-back, local feel than the main city center, while still being an inner-city suburb. ​The best part is definitely the Blue Mile. It’s this gorgeous coastal walkway where you can grab a coffee and just wander. If you’re into swimming, you have to check out the Gentleman's rock pool—and the Continental Baths (seawater Olympic-sized pools). Speaking of surf, North Beach is great, but if you want to stay dry, Stuart Park is right there with heaps of green space for a picnic, or book a sky dive! ​For food and drinks, you’re spoiled. The North Gong Hotel is a classic for a beer in the sun, especially on a Sunday afternoon. There are also some really cool little cafes down by the water that do a killer breakfast. ​It’s basically the kind of place where you can spend the whole morning at the beach, have a long lunch, and then just watch the skydivers land at Stuart Park while the sun goes down. It’s super chill, very walkable, and honestly just a great place to recharge.
