Hi, I moved to Binalong Bay Tasmania from mainland Australia more than 17 years ago. After discovering what a beautiful area the Bay of Fires is, I decided to help others to enjoy the world renowned Bay of Fires on the East Coast of Tasmania. I now have a number of quality holiday rentals and enjoy meeting guests and talking to them about the area.

Binalong Beach Cottage is the property for couples who just want to walk out the door, take a few steps and be right on that white sand of Binalong Bay Beach. Just a few strides has you strolling along the beach at this beachfront cottage. Formerly one of the iconic "Bay of Fires Character Cottages ". Inside you will find a spacious bedroom featuring a quality king size bed, ensuite bathroom, and ocean views. The living/dining/kitchen has that homely cottage vibe with everything you will need. There is a Nespresso pod coffee machine, dishwasher, hotplates and microwave. Though we do not have an oven, we do have a WeberQ BBQ outside where you can cook to your hearts content. But it may be easier to walk next door to the restaurant to either dine in or bring home a take-away and enjoy the deck! Free high speed Wi-fi is available.

Explore the world famous Bay of Fires area, take a stroll out to Skeleton Point, past the Viewing Platform overlooking the Bay of Fires, visit the Boat Ramp, book a boat trip up the coast with Bay of Fires Eco Tours, find the secret beaches, and examine the rock pools. Walk to Meresta Eatery next door for breakfast lunch or dinner. Or even grab a takeaway and laze around at Binalong Beach Cottage on the porch Take a leisurely drive to St Colombo Falls, Halls Falls, and wonder among the amazing bush areas nearby. If you like mountain biking, then this is a fabulous destination with many amazing World Class mountain bike tracks in the area. You can spend a week just exploring the numerous tracks now open. All within a short drive from here. Bike Hire is available in the nearby town of St Helens if you can't bring your own. Hire a fishing charter, there are great services available from Binalong Bay Boat Ramp - or if the open sea is not your thing - you can fish in the large body of water at Georges Bay.
