There is a bedroom with BI robes & queen bed. There is also a private kitchenette with cooking facilities and a bathroom with bath & separate toilet.The location is off the street, which makes it very quiet and private. The unit is attached to the main house and has its own entrance. There are 6 steps to get up to the door, so unfortunately, it is not suitable for someone in a wheelchair. The house and unit are located in a very large garden that is currently being established. There is free, secure private parking that will fit a vehicle and boat on the property right beside the unit.

The hosts are Lindy & Greg, they are an old couple who live in the rest of the house. The house and unit are virtually new, having only been finished building in October 2025. Lindy is retired and is a volunteer on the cable tram, plays the ukulele, and spends a lot of time working in the large garden. Greg still does some part-time work and plays around in his workshop.

The property is behind the Fawthrop Centre, and the driveway is straight across the front of the Centre and through the black gates. Please enter at walking speed. The Fawthrop Centre has bingo on Friday afternoon and again Friday night. It also has indoor bowls Monday & Saturday. It also has cards on Tuesday and Thursday.The property adjoins the soccer field, and it is 200 metres from the Motor Museum & 200 metres from Portland Cable Trams. There is only a 200 metre walk to the heated swimming pool and gym. It is also only 100 metres from the Fawthrop Lagoon and the bike/walking track that goes all around town. The property is 700 metres from the town centre.
