A lovely mixture of olde world and new, with the luxury of a clawfoot bath, large walk-in shower, hotel quality crisp white linen and towels, and internet. Comprising two bedrooms, both of which are larger and more private than one might expect for a traditional cottage of this era, Inglenook can comfortably sleep five in total. There are two peaceful indoor seated areas, both well-lit with antique fireplaces and Persian rugs, where you’ll unwind in no time at all. You can escape from it all on the couch by streaming movies on the TV from the Chromecast, courtesy of Inglenook's free unlimited internet. All you need is your own smartphone or tablet and you can stream services such as Netflix* and YouTube. The shaded front patio is the perfect place to watch the world go by over breakfast, while the back garden’s bespoke lighting, gas hood barbeque, and seating for all — is the ideal place to end your day. Further amenities include ducted reverse cycle air conditioning (though, the stone cottage stays cool in the warmer months), a HD television with Blu-Ray player, an iPod docking station, board games, and plenty of books to read. *requires your own Netflix account
Inglenook was purchased as a holiday home for our family and as a holiday rental. We have completely restored the 1910 miners cottage throughout 2018, back to it’s former loveliness. We live in Adelaide but spend as much time as possible in Moonta and Inglenook. We love being able to walk to the cafes and browse around the quaint shops. The beach is gorgeous and the water pristine. We spend many hours there on every visit. Our daughter loves the free waterpark next to the beach and the rock pools around the bay.
Inglenook offers guests the opportunity to stay in an original miners cottage, with the added benefits of modern facilities and comfort on George Street. Situated a few minutes walk from the restaurants , cafes and shops, yet far enough away when guests want to relax and unwind. The fairy lights installed in the back patio add ambiance to enjoy relaxed meals and BBQ's, whilst overlooking the private secure garden. Glorious Moonta Bay is only minutes away by car with beach, jetty and free water park.
