King Cottage is a comfortable 3 bedroom cottage, situated in Wilberforce NSW, a beautiful suburb in the Hawkesbury, surrounded by History and the amazing Hawkesbury River. We are ideally located to go exploring during the day, come home relax and enjoy the comfort of home. We are also Pet Friendly, and as much as we all love our pets, We have a few simple rules they, are NOT allowed inside the cottage and not to be left unattended, we have a small back deck where they can comfortably sleep and the front and back yard is fully secure, plenty of space for them.
King Cottage was certainly not in my plans, but its been an absolute pleasure renovating the cottage. We have meet some lovely people who come to the Hawkesbury for so many different reasons - Discovering there family tree, Family reunions, Weddings, working in the area. I certainly enjoy meeting our guests and discovering why they visit, I also get great pleasure in advising places to go and my favourite eateries and walks & events.
The Hawkesbury has so much to offer - from any direction leaving King Cottage you will discover something new. Close by we have Australiana Pioneer Village - Amazing place to visit, true Australian History Ebenezer Church - Australia's Oldest Church St Albans Pub - a lovely drive approx 40 mins from us Hawkesbury Regional Museum Hawkesbury Art Gallery Butterfly Farm Wilberforce Indy 800 Go Kart Track Wilberforce Wild Cate Conservation Bilpin - Fruit picking Drives to Wisemans Ferry and so much more.... The Hawkesbury has some amazing eateries, pubs, restaurants, clubs - most venues have live music on fri/sat. - Close by we have The Heritage Hotel - Wilberforce, Paradise Cafe at Lower Portland, Tractor828 at Ebenezer, Bilpin Cider at Bilpin - or plenty to choose form in Windsor, Richmond & North Richmond. Or for eating in we have our local butchers : M&A Butchery or Munro's Butchery or local fruit & veg shop Sciberra's and 2 amazing Bakeries in Wilberforce Hawkesbury Country bakehouse & Bun's & Beans. Local take away in Wilberforce - Wilberforce takeaway & Pizza 1988.
