Mantra Aqueous on Port serves stylish accommodation in the heart of beach-side Port Douglas. Enjoy Tropical North Queensland your way when you stay at Mantra Aqueous on Port, just metres away from shopping and dining precincts, as well as Great Barrier Reef transfers. Offering further convenience, we have a tour desk to make booking those fun excursions hassle-free. Don’t want to lift a finger during your stay? There’s plenty of relaxing to do onsite with 4 outdoor lagoon pools, spas, cabanas and BBQ areas. If that’s not enough, room offerings include private balconies with spas and some have their own swim-out pool deck too! Cook up a feast in your self-contained kitchen, or step outside onto Macrossan Street – the main dining hub of Port Douglas. Whenever you choose to visit, Mantra Aqueous on Port is ready to welcome you. ROAD WORKS AND HIGHWAY CLOSURE: Due to necessary road repairs, a section of the Captain Cook Highway between the Rex Lookout and Turtle Cove, Wangetti, will be closed to all traffic from 15 May - 22 July 2024 between 9pm - 4am, weather and construction conditions permitting. Traffic will be let through the roadworks site from both ends at 11pm and 1.30am. Full closures will occur on the nights of Sunday 19 May and Monday 20 May where the scope of works will mean traffic CANNOT be let through. The Department of Transport and Main Roads anticipates further full closure dates may be required. The dates of full closures are dependent on progress of works, weather, materials supply, and construction conditions. No night works will occur on the following dates: 24 May - 26 May – Road will remain open for Port Douglas Carnivale1 June, 8 June, 15 June (Road will remain open to allow access ahead of the Ironman event), 16 June (Changed traffic conditions and closures will be in place.) Works will resume 17 June, 22 June, 29 June and 6 July 2024.
