McCaffrey's Estate is a working vineyard, we live onsite and you will often see us tending to the vines or playing in the garden with our children. We do welcome you on arrival, however we like you to have your own space too. We are on call should you need us.

McCaffrey's Estate is the perfect location to stay in the Hunter Valley. Enjoy stunning views of our vineyard from your cottage and relax on your own private patio to soak up the sunshine and the fresh country air. Explore cellar doors and award winning restaurants within walking distance and coach transfers available to all the major concerts right from our door. An abundance of wildlife and peace and quiet to enjoy a relaxing stay in your home away from home. Guests can enjoy the saltwater pool in the summer months and the slow combustion fire during the winter months.

We are located on Hermitage Road where you will find beautiful family owned and operated wineries to explore. You may like to bring your own bike or hire one to enjoy the Around Hermitage Cycleway, over 10km of dedicated cycle and walking pathway. If wine is not your thing, we are only a short stroll to Ironbark Hill Brewhouse and 4 Pines at the Farm, and some of the finest restaurants the Hunter Valley has to offer such as Restaurant Botanica, Yellow Billy, The Mill and Muse Kitchen. Also nearby are Harrigans Irish Pub, Hunter Valley Gardens and Pokolbin Village at a short 10 minute drive. Enzo Weddings, Greystone Estate and Spicers Vineyard Estate are all within walking distance if you are attending an event and Estate Tuscany is 2km.
