We love the tall trees - the fresh mountain air - the views of Melbourne city lights at night from SkyHigh Mt Dandenong. We love exploring the interesting shops, dining at Coonara Springs or Wild Oak Restaurants. Our most special joy though is the nature, bird song, wild life we see from day to day - we never want to leave!

Moulton Park is a gracious 3 acre property with a Historic Homestead which is available for up to 6 guests. Luxurious and comfortable bookings here are based on the whole of house being used. In the garden there are two cottages, Keepers Cottage and the Gatehouse Cottage which are perfect just for couples. A stay at Moulton Park can be for the whole property or just for a couple or friends and family. There is a large park like garden, a half tennis court, walking by a back track to Sassafras village is around 10 minutes. The Dandenong Ranges are famous for their natural beauty, parks, gardens and the Villages of Mt Dandenong are filled with delightful shops, cafes and restaurants. Two great nurseries if you are a gardener, a walk in Sherbrooke Forest if you are a hiker - revived by coffee and cake at Shannon Bennett's Piggery Cafe at Burnham Beeches - or in the great cafes scattered across the mountain top. Moulton Park Estate is managed by Valley Ranges Getaways office in Olinda. We look forward to welcoming you for your stay soon.

The Villages of Mt Dandenong are filled with beautiful and unique shops, cafes and restaurants, so filling in your days will happen all too quickly. SkyHigh Mt Dandenong offers views over Melbourne city and is a wonderful view at night. There is a maze in the garden here too. Cloudehill Gardens Olinda offer 5 acres of fabulous garden to visit in any season. Works of Art - inspiring planting, historic Beech trees and a restaurant called Seasons with surely the best lemon tart in Victoria to have with your coffee. Newly opened, and not to be missed, are the garden and restaurant at Coonara Springs. Open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner - this is the place for your special occasion. Walks through the National Parks, a visit to the 100 acres of the National Rhododendron Gardens in Olinda, William Ricketts Sanctuary at Mt Dandenong are a great favorite as are the 1000 steps for those wanting a fitness challenge. Or, you can visit the wineries of the Yarra Valley - just 45 minutes drive - OR stay at 'home' and relax and indulge in a spa and a massage in your cottage. The choice is yours.
