Northfield Woodend is boutique accomodation in the Macedon Ranges. We offer two separate apartments: Northfield Upstairs and Garden View. Both apartments have one king-sized bed in the bedroom, separate bathrooms, a large lounge with TV and DVD, and kitchen facilities. They are both private and fully self-contained. Which ever you choose, you'll find the perfect space to retreat, read a book, write your book, or settle in for some board games or a movie with a local bottle of wine after a day of exploring the magical Macedon Ranges. Garden View: Indulge yourself in the spacious and luxurious Garden View suite, a stylish and well appointed apartment situated on the ground floor, with all the modern conveniences set in a dreamy park-like garden setting. The sumptuous king-size bedroom leads to the indulgent bathroom with freestanding, deep bath and walk in shower with a giant rainwater shower head. The brand new kitchen facilities mean you can self-cater for the perfect night in, or take a short walk into charming Woodend village for a night out. Northfield Upstairs: The Upstairs apartment boasts a wood fire to curl up in front of in the winter evenings.

Indulge in retail therapy with a stroll down some of the best shopping strips around, delve into our thriving artistic culture in our many art galleries or tap into age-old skills in a lifestyle or artisan workshop. Woodend is the perfect base. You can gather in the large shady picnic grounds or get your walking shoes on and explore Hanging Rock. Walks can be taken on the trails and paths that weave through the reserve past local flora and fauna, or take a fishing rod and try your luck in the dam, which is regularly stocked with fish (don’t forget your fishing licence!). In fact there are a number of great fishing spots dotted all around the Macedon Ranges.
