We are a boutique park consisting of 12 villas and 25 powered sites. Our pet-friendly park is renowned for being a well-maintained, quiet place of relaxation. Our villas cater for individuals or couples, families and groups. All villas have a porch or verandah. Your pets are welcome in 5 of our villas and on all of our powered sites. Only 400m to the beach and Charlton Esplanade - the hub of Hervey Bay's wide variety of restaurants, cafe's and shops, makes Tasman Holiday Parks - Torquay Palms perfectly located. The warm, clear waters of Hervey Bay offer safe swimming all year round. Or you can choose to swim in our inviting pool. Why not take a tour of Fraser Island, the bay or go whale watching. The city of Hervey Bay lies on the Fraser Coast, a scenic 3 hours drive north from Brisbane or 45 minutes by air. It boasts warm sub-tropical days and safe swimming beaches all year round and with over 1.2 million visitors per year. Hervey Bay offers all the conveniences of a capital city. Hervey Bay is known as the Whale Watch Capital of Australia. It is the only place in Australia where you are guaranteed a sighting of a whale during the whale watch season, which runs from mid July to early November. Whale Watching is popular in Hervey Bay as it is one of the only places in the world where the Humpback Whales seem to befriend their whale watchers, swimming and playing around the vessels and putting on some amazing acrobatic shows for their audience. It is not unusual to see up to 20 whales or even more during a single cruise tour. Hervey Bay is not only the Whale Watch Capital, but also the Gateway to the World Heritage Listed, Fraser Island. Fraser Island is the largest sand Island in the world and is heritage listed due to its unique environment, flora and fauna. Stroll along Urangan Pier or try your luck fishing, Hervey Bay has something for everyone.
