Your hosts are Julie and Jason, a married couple who live locally, and their right hand woman Emma. On any given day, you’ll find Julie in the office, managing administration and overseeing that guests have a memorable trip. Jason is the photographer and maintenance hero. Their operations manager, Emma, corresponds with guests and organizes the housekeeping teams.

The recently renovated apartment includes TV's in both the living room and bedroom, each with chrome cast for you to enjoy. The bedroom has a queen size bed. There is an outdoor seating area for you to enjoy your morning coffee. You are welcome to enjoy the books and DVD's provided during your stay. The outdoor stairs from the car park leads you through some beautiful native plants down to the front patio, with a breath taking view of the River Derwent. There is some charming patio furniture for those sunny morning coffees and pastries, bought from the local grocer 5 minutes up the road. The space is cosy and charming; there is a full open plan kitchen and dining entrance area, with a full bathroom also containing the laundry facilities. The only bedroom contains a comfortable queen bed with side tables, reading lamps, a clothes rail, and a TV with a chromecast. There are some steps down to the scenic living room, which contains a large corner sofa, another dining option (to revere the view over your breakfast), and another TV with a chromecast. Please note: The apartment is underneath the main house. The door between the two will be locked during your stay but the buildings are connected. The apartment has a separate entrance to the house. We ask that guests in both properties are respectful of each other and mindful of excessive noise which may travel. The driveway is not suitable for larger cars and because it is quite steep, we do not recommend cars which sit low to the ground drive up or down the driveway. We will send instructions on which is the car space for the unit with check in details as guests cannot use the car space for the main house. As you can see from the gorgeous views, the apartment is located on a hill. Therefore, the driveway to the apartment is quite steep and care needs to be taken. A hand rail has been installed to assist guests but please consider if any of your guests have any mobility issues.

The apartment is located close to the Sandy Bay shopping precinct and a local grocer is just around the corner for everything you need during your stay. You can enjoy one of the many nearby walking tracks and discovery the beauty of the Tasmanian wilderness.
