Hey there, we're Laurice and Cam! Two travel agents who call Cairn's, FNQ home. We love exploring the outdoors and are passionate about where we live. Whether you're wanting to know where to hike, snorkel, swim or where to enjoy a great bite to eat.. just ask us! We hope to see you soon. We offer a meet and greet for all check-ins. Our beautiful apartment overlooks the tree top lines on the third floor accessible via stairs, we will assist with your bags on arrival 🙂

✈️ We are less than a 10minute drive from the airport. Public transport, Uber and Taxis are all available at the front of the Resort including electric scooter hire! 🏃🏻 There are many walking/running tracks & boardwalks around The Green Place. We are located in a gated community and less than a few minutes walk from the beautiful Cairns Botanical Gardens, also only 800meters away from the start of the Cairns Esplanade Walk which leads you straight into the centre of town and famous night markets. 🌴 Botanical Gardens Boardwalk & Centenary lakes: Only a 5 minute walk outside the Lakes resort you’ll find a beautiful walking trail through the Flecker Gardens rainforest. On Sundays you’ll find the Tanks Markets on with fun food and so many local stalls! 🎊Cairns Night Markets & Esplanade Walk: From the Lakes resort you’re only around 800meters away from the start of the Cairns Esplanade Walk (the walk is approximately 1 hour) which leads you straight into the centre of town and famous night markets. The esplanade walk is quite popular from morning to sunset. You can also ride share or use the scooters at the front of the resort. 🛥️ Only a 10min drive to the Cairns Marina which gives you access to The Great Barrier Reef where you can go snorkelling, diving or take a day trip out to Fitzroy or Green Island. 🌴 Going North you have access to the rainforest where you can go on the Skyline gondola and explore the Kuranda Village Markets at the top of the mountain range. 🚗 Cairns CBD has a huge international range of food options from street food all the way to fine dining. If you don’t feel like leaving the Resort there is an amazing Thai restaurant and Cafe. We have a main shopping centre called Cairns Central and in the CBD there are many boutique shops. 🛍️ Cairns DFO is a direct factory outlet shopping centre open for all your shopping needs.
