Eaglehawk Neck has an abundance of historic natural features including the Tessellated Pavement, The Blow Hole, Tasman Arch and the Devil's Kitchen. There are amazing picturesque walks of varying degrees of difficulty but all taking in the wonderful coastal scenery. The white, sandy beaches are ideal for swimming, surfing, fishing and a variety of other water activities. Port Arthur Historic site is a 25 minutes drive away and this convict penal colony is Australia’s leading tourist attraction. The Remarkable cave is a further 3kms from Port Arthur and has breathtaking views of the coastline to Cape Raoul. The Three Capes walk is also located in this iconic wilderness area as well as the award winning Pennicott Tasman Island Cruise, a must see do in my eyes ! For keen surfers, Ship Stern bluff and Roaring beach are both within a 40 min drive. Let's not forget the mountain bikers. There are a myriad of tracks and roads for you to explore in this mostly untamed wilderness. With so much to see and do you will not be disappointed with a trip to this majestic part of Australia.
