Wilderberry Cottage, just 5 mins from Berry village, is designed exclusively for couples. This contemporary Australian property offers complete privacy within a picturesque rural setting. Sparkling wine and chocolates await your arrival (optional French champagne upgrade). Relax and recharge in the enormous double bathtub with soft, pure rainwater and soothing toiletries. Enjoy uninterrupted views across the fields and up to the escarpment. Chill out in your Turkish cotton robes, prepare a gourmet meal, stargaze on the deck, sip an espresso or simply curl up in front of the fire with a book or watch DVD. All this just minutes from the centre of Berry village with its shops and famous restaurants. You'll never want to leave. The cottage is stocked with all the cooking basics: oils, vinegars, sea salt, black pepper, Nespresso machine, & local milk. An optional breakfast hamper for two people is available for the first morning of your stay. Select bacon or smoked salmon when you book. Wilderberry is proudly a smoke-free zone.
Damon loves wild and beautiful places and visits them as often as he can. With a background in film-making and photography, he is always seeking a balance between the aesthetic and practical, and Wilderberry is a reflection of those values. I hope my guests enjoy the little touches that make it a pleasure to be away from home.
Wilderberry is on the 'wilder' side of Berry at Broughton Vale, amidst deep, grassy fields dotted with cows and thoroughbred horses. Walk, cycle or picnic alongside the babbling Broughton Mill Creek or take an easy hike up to the Drawing Room Rocks for breathtaking views from Kiama to Jervis Bay. Its a mere 14 minutes by car to famous Seven Mile Beach and 23 minutes to Kangaroo Valley. Berry offers amazing shopping experiences including antiques, homewares, specialty chocolates, fashion and organic whole-foods. There is a taxi service to take you to town and back for that special celebration meal.
