We are Bill and Melissa, and are happy to host you in a uniquely beautiful cottage designed by a Feng Shi eco-architect. Amid five acres of rolling hillside and nestled in a grove of wild guapurú fruit trees, “Casa Guapurú” has a view that sweeps over Samaipata’s clay roofs and the green hills cupping them. Feels like the country, but the town center is a seven-minute stroll away (400 meters)! Enjoy two kilometers of on-site nature paths and pick seasonal orchard fruit, herbs, and veggies
Hola, mi nombre es Horacio y soy el anfitrión junto a Bill y Melissa de esta hermosa Casa Guaupuru, ubicada en los alrededores del casco viejo de Samaipata. Vivo hace 6 años en Samaipata, soy de La Paz, y me gusta conocer gente de todas partes del mundo y compartir experiencias. Estaré aquí seis meses para aclarar tus dudas y resolver tus necesidades.
Our neighborhood is special because of its peaceful seclusion and also its proximity to town. We walk our daughter to school each day, but if you go the other direction you are quickly on little-known nature trails with fantastic views, that we can share with you. The windows of Casa Guapuru frame a scene that could be Tuscany if not for the sparks of green-and-red parrots flaring overhead, and the dozens of guapuru trees behind the house have tangy-sweet purple fruits grow out of their velvety trunks—In season, eat as much as you like!
