Directly across from the National Arts Center, this nonsmoking, landmark hotel is only steps from major attractions, and offers spacious accommodations with 49-inch TVs and first-class amenities in the city center of Canada's capital. The Lord Elgin Hotel is ideally located close to a number of Parliament buildings as well as the National Art Gallery. Guests at the hotel can also enjoy ice skating on Rideau Canal in the winter or exploring the vibrant shops and restaurants in Byward Market. In addition to a variety of standard amenities, the Lord Elgin also features a state-of-the-art 24-hour fitness center, complete with a lap pool. Guests can also browse for souvenirs at the small on-site gift shop and enjoy free local calls.
