This precious two-story cabin is located by the Otun River, -just 15 Kilometers from Pereira- at the entrance of Ucumari, Natural Reserve which is on the way to el Parque Los Nevados (PNN), and Santuario de Fauna & Flora Otun-Quimbaya. This cozzy cabin has a private entrance to the prestine waters of the Otun River. The property has a Sauna, a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace and a balcony with hommocks, a chimney in the living room plus a separate little kid’s house completely furnished. Outside in the yard there is also a place for Bonfires, a private exit to the River, and a big bench that faces the Mountain . All of these accompanied by the natural surroundings, that inspire moments of peace, well-being and contemplation of nature, are the most appealing features of this cabin. "The Rio Otún, is remarkably gourgeuos: with its crystal clear waters is the main attraction of this marvelous cabin along with mountains, Waterfalls and the howler monkeys, torrent ducks, the bird Amazonian Mot-Mot, the bull mount, the wild turkey (Cauca Guan) and Dantas (And hundreds of species of birds!). Birdwatching and mountain-biking are major activities in the area.

I am business manager from Pereira and I am now dedicated full time to my new company called Coffee Axis Toours which main goal is to bring tourist to the Coffee Axis region in the central part of the Andes mountains of Colombia. Now, since dicember 2019, our new Cotinga Hotel Spa was opened to the public.

The cabin is located just 1.5 miles from La Florida which is a small pueblo located 9 miles from downtown Pereira. The Town of La Florida has less tha 4.000 inhabitants but you may find several restaurants and a couple of them offer some veggy options. The cabin is fully equipped and may host up to nine people. There are three rooms upstairs; each room has a queen bed plus another room with two single beds plus a sofa in the living room. There is a great porch- Balcony- upstairs too with two great hammocks to chill-out and relax The cabin also boasts a nice chimney in the living room and a fire pit outside right by the river. This cabin is so beautiful and peaceful. As far as transportation is concerned, La Chiva (Typical Colombian country Bus) passes right by the cabin and a Taxi from the airport th the cabin will cost aproximately US 20 Dollars. Only Claro and Avantel have mobile phone coverage in the area and there is an Internet Café in Town- The weather is rather cold specially at night, so we recommend you take some warm clothes too.
