We want to share with you some important information. Hostal Luz de Luna is an Ecotourism hostel located 350 meters from Las Marias beach. Our policies include tranquility and rest for our guests, as well as caring for nature. We have created a beautiful garden and green area with fruit trees and ornamental plants to beautify the place and provide habitat for different types of birds and animals in the region, as well as shade and temperature reduction. HOW TO GET THERE: From Santa Marta, take a taxi from the airport to the market for approximately 30,000 pesos or take the bus from the airport that passes through the market. From there, take a bus towards Palomino that will cost you 15,000 pesos. Once you arrive in Palomino, you can walk down Sixth Street towards the sea for approximately 5 minutes until you see our sign "Hostal Luz de Luna" on the right side. Alternatively, you can take a motorcycle taxi for 3,000 pesos, and they will drop you off in front of the hostel. Check-in is at 2 pm, and check-out is at 11 am. If you arrive earlier, please let us know so we can have your room ready if possible. BREAKFAST INCLUDED: Your reservation includes a delicious breakfast of Colombian arepas made in the hostel or toast, natural fruit juice, eggs or fruit, chocolate or coffee. 15 minutes from the Hostel, you can enjoy a hike on the indigenous trail, extreme tubing on the river that leads to the sea, rafting, rappelling, horseback riding, waterfalls, indigenous villages, Tairona Park, Lost City, Sierra Nevada, Punta Gallina, Cape of La Vela, and Flamingo Park.
