Hi! My name is Enrique, but everyone calls me Ketho! I am a computer engineer and I live in Costa Rica. However, I have always loved to travel, discover new places, and meet people from all over the world! We offer comfortable accommodations, provide amenities, and offer personalized touches, so guests can feel at home and we can contribute to their overall enjoyment. I enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds and countries, engaging in meaningful conversations, and learning from their experiences. As a host, I have the opportunity to share my knowledge about the local area, including hidden gems, popular attractions, and the best places to eat, shop, or explore. We are your apartment in the center of San José! Our studio apartments have a relaxed atmosphere with lots of light and tranquility. If you are looking for a place that is close to everything but at the same time you want to feel away from the day-to-day, this is the place for you. The apartment is private and fully equipped, designed to provide a "home away from home" experience. Our property combines a peaceful and quiet location while also being central and near the city of San José. While visiting us you will have access to the common areas from our sister property, Jardin del Mango, which is located just a block away from the apartment. It counts with a living room and garden which are open and inviting, feel free to relax and unwind in our big and wonderful garden near the mango tree and fish ponds or inside in one of our living room spaces which have large windows that provide plenty of light and a good flow of air. We provide several nice features for our guest entertainment such as a 50' HD TV, Play Station 4 with several games and surround system, ping pong, and foosball table, as well as a yoga and meditation area. There are also many supermarkets, bars, and, restaurants in this area where you can choose between local and international food in all price ranges. Feel free to ask us for recommendations! Costa Rica is known for its stunning natural landscapes, biodiversity, and friendly people. We are located in the neighborhood of La Sabana, which is one of the oldest neighborhoods in San Jose. It is a very safe and quiet area next to most embassies. Just 20 minutes by car from the airport and a 30-minute walking distance from downtown. We are only two blocks away from one of the most notable places in San José: Parque La Sabana (La Sabana Park). It is a large urban park located in the heart of the city. La Sabana Park is considered the "Central Park" of San José and is a popular gathering spot for locals and tourists alike. The park covers an area of approximately 72 hectares (178 acres) and offers a variety of recreational activities. It features large grassy fields, paved paths for jogging and walking, and sports facilities such as soccer fields, basketball courts, and tennis courts. Many people visit the park to exercise, have picnics, or simply relax in the green surroundings. Another highlight is the Estadio Nacional (National Stadium), which is located within its premises. The stadium is the largest in Costa Rica and has hosted numerous national and international sports events, including football (soccer) matches and concerts. You can also find the Costa Rican Art Museum, housed in the historic former airport terminal building. The museum showcases a collection of Costa Rican art from the colonial era to the present day. There are several additional amenities you can find at the park, including a small lake where visitors can rent paddleboats, a skate park, and a children's playground. There are also food kiosks and vendors selling snacks and refreshments, making it a great place to enjoy a leisurely day outdoors. Additionally, the park hosts various events and festivals throughout the year, such as concerts, cultural exhibitions, and sports tournaments. It's worth checking the local events calendar to see if there are any happenings during your visit.
