Quietly situated by the river bank, our holiday home with its 70 m² offers the ideal retreat for a relaxing holiday. The house is situated about 100 m back from the street and you park directly in front of the house. On 2 floors, the house has a modern interior, a secluded terrace, a large garden and 50 m of bank with a beautiful view over the fields to the mill, and of course Wi-Fi. House Jane has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 people. And if it rains, TV and board games are available. For our youngest guests there are also stair gratings, a cot and a high chair. The house is not directly on the coast (approx. 7 km from the nearest beach in Dornumersiel), but is ideally situated for your voyage of discovery along the North Sea coast in East Frisia. You can reach the picturesque centre of Dornum on foot within minutes, while all excursion destinations such as Greetsiel in the west and Hooksiel in the east can be reached without a long drive. All ferries to the islands are between 10 and 30 minutes away. Picturesque fishing harbours, interesting small towns and an extensive network of cycle paths await you. And after a day on the beach, you can enjoy a barbecue on the terrace in the evening or enjoy the sunset on the river. Few regions in Germany have as many regular guests as East Frisia. Anyone who has been here once comes back and wants to experience the very special character of this landscape with its windmills, meadows, waves and the Wadden Sea once again. No wonder that UNESCO has declared the Wadden Sea a World Heritage Site! "You can recognise a region by the way it walks - like a human being!" Here the pace is generally a little more relaxed than elsewhere, and you can take a leisurely stroll along the dyke or quay.
