Our [HERBE]rge belongs to a small Hofreite in the old local core of Wintersheim. We have altered the small outbuilding with a lot of love to the detail to guest-rooms. For the use of ecological building materials our house was distinguished by the administrative district Mainz-Bingen as the first overnight company with the green house number. In our [HERBE]rge there are two guest-rooms with double bed which can be also used as an apartment for up to four people. Both rooms are equipped with water cooker and coffeemaker. If you wish we spoil you with a breakfast with bio-and regional products which you can enjoy in nice weather with pleasure in the typically Rheinhessen inner courtyard. To the court belongs a small, romantic garden with herbs and English roses in which you read, dream and take a break from everyday. If you like to explore Rheinhessen by foot or by wheel there are numerous possibilities: You can choose the nearby Jakob's pilgrim's way, the Rhine terrace way running along the Rhine Valley or also the typical „Rheinhessische hollow way“ … the country of 1.000 hills invites almost to be explored on foot or by wheel. From Wintersheim many places of interest let themselves reach in short time. The nearby medieval small town of Oppenheim is dominated by the impressive Katharinenkirche. At first invisibly for the visitor the cellar labyrinth - a small town under the town - which can be explored within the scope of a guidance.
