I renovated this place with respect for the original building style and architecture. In the old days it was a soap shop and dates back from 1924. The interior decoration is a blend of Scandinavian country style and French industrial vintage. Rustique, with focus on the aesthetic, cozy and homely at the same time. All the furniture is unique and handpicked around Europe. I have tried to renovate this place, with the same kind of aesthetic qualities that I appreciate myself.

I am living just across the road and will during stays in the summertime be very available for questions and advice. he winter periods I often spend in Australia, but there will always be someone around to guide you through any uncertainties. I am never further away than a phone call or text message, and I always do my best to answer prompt.

Vang is a tiny village just on the outskirts of the national park in beautiful Thy. People here in Western Jutland usually love the nature and are very connected to their land. They are extremely kind and generous and will usually go out of their way to help you. I myself grew up just down the hill and across from the old dairy farm, and after having spent most of my life abroad and close to Copenhagen, where life is busy, hectic and stressful, I realise how grounded people here are. They understand the essence of simple living and always seem to have all the time in the world, always warm and hospitable and with a wonderfully warm, underplayed sense of humor. They love to chat and talk about their land, their dog, their history (most of them born and raised here) - and especially about the weather. In Denmark the weather is a big thing, because it changes all the time, and Thy is always windy - as you see on the trees leaning to one side. The best way to get around is by car or by bike. Buses are scarce and very irregular. The sea is only five km away and makes a nice walk through the forrest.
