Our refurbished antique villa home sits alongside a rainforest called La Furnia, above the 16th century pueblo, Icod de Los Vinos. We offer a peaceful, retreat-like stay, with an interior that boasts wood floors and an abundance of natural light. The panoramic vistas include: the tropical forest of La Furnia, the Atlantic Ocean, the Teide, vineyards, and historical town of Icod. Stunning views, outdoor hot bathtub and shower, swimming pool, BBQ, many nooks, patios for reading, eating, and drinking. This historic House has been refurbished using reclaimed natural elements available in the island. Providing comfort while enhancing its natural artistic settings. It is the ideal private getaway.
We are a family of 6 with 4 young children, passionate about outdoors and architecture. We are living 45 minutes away in the capital Santa Cruz. We are always attentive to our guests and will respond to any question or inquiry as soon as possible. We also have employees and neighbors who are nearby for more immediate emergencies. Please let us know of anything that needs our attention.
Set on a ridge overlooking the protected natural area knonw as La Furnia - the last natural standing thermophilic forest in Tenerife - home of densest population of indegineous bird species. The house is sourrounded by vineyards, avocado farms and palm trees. Yet 5 Minutes drive from downtown Icod and 10 minutes from the beautiful natural black sand beach of San Marcos.
