Located on the edge of the village of Alajar, Casa Antonio has the advantage of countryside views and privacy while being only a short walk from the village's shops, bars and restaurants. As an ancient white Moorish hilltop village Alajar is full of interesting architecture with small narrow streets and many shops, restaurants and bars, all a short walk from Casa Antonio. It’s the real Spain unspoilt by development and staying grounded in the friendly culture of the local region. At 600 metres above sea level the altitude gives Alájar a more temperate climate than the plains below. So, although it can be warm during the day, in summer it cools off more at night than in Seville. As a result the climate supports a great variety of vegetation across the seasons. Chestnuts, olives, figs, wild mushrooms, oranges, lemons, and honey from the astonishing range of wildflowers to name just of few of the attractions that bring visitors to this part of Spain across the year.

The English owners of Tresvillas, Tony and Debby Brown, started with their first house Estrella in 2004 and have only recently added newly-constructed Antonio and Carmen. All three houseswere made available as holiday rentals from 2017. Tony and Debby spend time in both the UK and Spain and Tresvillas is a project born out of their love of the Sierra de Aracena and Alájar in particular. Their taste for Spanish culture was begun in Mexico where they lived for 4 years and all of the houses include objects brought back from that country. Tresvillas therefore gives extended family groups and friends the opportunity to spend time together while having a measure of independence by having their own villa. Or single family groups can just take one of the houses since they are also set up to be completely independent of each other.

Alajar is said to be the jewel in the Sierra de Aracena park because it is nestled under La Pena de Arias Montano a national monument on a rocky outcrop above the village dating back to the 16th century. From here there are spectacular views of the beautiful verdant countryside with cork, oak fruit and olive trees all around.
