Welcome to Vista Terraza Illora, which I run with my Spaniel who is always eager to greet new guests. We are dog friendly and a well behaved dog is always welcome. We also have a shy but loving rescue cat on the premises. There is a separate entrance for guests which leads into a small lounge and library area. Here you can relax with a cold drink or a cup of tea or coffee. The lounge also has a flat screen television and next to it as a small kitchen with drink making facilities, microwave and small fridge. The place is rented as a small apartment and therefore you will not be sharing it with olothers. Wifi is throughout. We have a lovely terrace for your use which is built on the castle rock and has lovely views of the church, town and olive groves stretching to the next village. This part of the house dates back to 1700 and the view is stunning and very beautiful at night when the church and castle are lit up. Although we do not have any parking on the premises you will find street parking close by. Granada is 30 mins by car or 45 mins by bus. As the accommodation part of the house was built in 1700 I try to create a fusion of Spanish and Moorish culture which befits the property, town and this area of Andalucia. Please note that the entrance is very steep and therefore not suitable for people with mobility issues and young children. Pilar Alto Guest House is in the heart of the old part of Illora, just steps away from the church, castle and amenities. Part of it was built in 1700 attached to the rock of the castle and the view from the terrace is stunning If you would like a tour of the castle please let me know and I will contact the guide for you. Everything is thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible and if there is anything you need please just ask. Please note that due to it's location there are many steps and therefore unfortunately would not be accessible to people with disabilities or walking difficulties.

We love to great new people and the most exciting part for me, after settling people into their acommodation, is showing them the view from the terrace, which really has the wow factor!

We are built on the castle rock and so are only a few steps away from the castle. We also are only steps away from our beautiful and historic church. Cafes and bars are very close by, along with small supermarkets and bakeries.
