This old mill, once used for grinding corn and generating electricity, has been transformed into a charming cottage offering privacy and comfort—perfect for enjoying with family and friends. Surrounded by a beautiful garden and a serene river, Molino de Leyte is the ideal refuge for those looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore this unique destination and experience its distinctive charm. The house accommodates up to 4 adults and 2 children. On the ground floor, you’ll find the living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a reading area, a dining space, and a fully equipped kitchen, providing all the comforts of home cooking. Upstairs, there are two guest bedrooms with double beds. The Balcony Room features a sink and bathtub, while the River Room includes a shower and sink. The toilet with a sink is located between the two rooms. Both rooms also offer an additional rollaway bed. Outside, overlooking the river, there is a seating area/patio with armchairs and a dining table, as well as another dining area with a grill. The river flows beside the house, and the garden boasts more than 30 types of trees. Additionally, a hammock is available for relaxing moments by the river—perfect for a nap after exploring, a hearty meal, or simply lying down to read a good book or enjoy a glass of the region’s local wine. Hi! My name is Ritchel, or just Ritch.  I’m from the beautiful island of LEYTE in the Philippines and I have been living in Spain for the past 3 years. As a nature lover, I enjoy spending time at the beach, being outdoors, and playing with my three dogs (two border collies and a pomsky). 🐾 I create handmade jewelry in my free time using fabrics from a variety of countries like Indonesia, Nepal, Cambodia, and Mozambique; It’s my way of celebrating global creativity and culture!  I’m a foodie at heart with a soft spot for Spanish and Asian cuisines. One of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain! Carmona is located in a spectacular natural setting between the Saja and Nansa valleys and is part of the municipality of Cabuérniga. Declared a Historic-Artistic Site and voted one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain in 2019, Carmona is a charming village with narrow, winding streets and traditional stone houses typical of Cantabria, embodying the essence of 16th, 17th, and 18th-century architecture. With a population of less than 200 inhabitants, Carmona has preserved its rich cultural heritage, including vestiges of its past, and maintains traditional practices such as livestock farming and crafts. It is famously known as "The Flower of the Albarqueros," referring to artisans who skillfully worked with wood to create albarcas or abarcas, a type of traditional footwear designed to keep feet insulated from the damp ground.
