Puerto de Santiago is a coastal town in the municipality of Santiago del Teide. It’s located on the island’s western coast, near the more famous Los Gigantes cliffs, which are towering volcanic formations rising from the sea. Puerto de Santiago was once a small fishing village, but over the years, it has grown into a popular tourist destination due to its beautiful beaches, scenic views, and pleasant climate. Key attractions include 1. Playa de la Arena: A black sand beach known for its natural beauty and safe swimming conditions. The beach is often awarded a Blue Flag for its cleanliness and quality. 2. Los Gigantes: The famous cliffs are just to the north of Puerto de Santiago. Visitors can take boat tours to see the cliffs up close, as well as spot dolphins and whales. 3.
