Cortijo Esquina is a 250 year old Traditional Spanish Cortijo, offering great value bed and breakfast accommodation, with shared bathroom facilities, in our lovely home. With wooden beams, open log fire in the winter, lovely garden and a fantastic swimming pool, open most of the year!, this is a wonderful place to relax and unwind, in tranquil surroundings. We are a Vivienda Rural property, which means we are rurally located amongst citrus groves, olive trees and hills. We are based in Almeria, Andalucia, which is famous for its sandy, rocky hills, cave houses, and desert like terrain, which has seen many Western films filmed here, plus Indiana Jones and Game of Thrones. We are approx 30 mins away from the great coastline of Vera, Mojacar and Garrucha, and just over an hour away from the Cabo De Gata National park, but please do your research with regards to location, so you are not disappointed.
Hi, we are Deana & Keith, and we've been running Cortijo Esquina for several years now, enjoying the fantastic Mediterranean way of life.
We live in a typical Spanish village of El Rincon, 5 mins from Arboleas, 10 mins from Albox, surrounded by hills and citrus groves. This is a rural location, but we do have several bars, restaurants and supermarkets within a 5-10 minute drive.
