Dette hyggelige pensionat ligger bag La Boqueria-markedet, blot 100 m fra Las Ramblas. Der tilbydes lyse værelser, område med gratis wi-fi samt døgnåben reception. Værelserne på Hostal la Palmera er stilfuldt indrettede og har aircondition samt laminatgulv. Samtlige værelser har desuden håndvask, og der er enten fælles eller eget badeværelse. Sengelinned og håndklæder er inkluderet. Pensionatet sælger kaffe, te og kolde drikkevarer i receptionen. Der findes adskillige barer, restauranter og butikker omkring 2 minutters gang fra pensionatet, og Plaza Real ligger 300 m derfra. Hostal la Palmera ligger 5 minutters gang fra domkirken i Barcelonas gotiske kvarter, og Gaudi-bygningerne La Pedrera samt Casa Batlló ligger 20 minutters gang derfra. Det tager 2 minutter at gå til metrostationen Liceu.
