Reindeer, northern wildlife, and spectacular natural phenomena – from the Midnight Sun to the Northern Lights – are only a short step from the compact downtown. The Northern Lights period starts from September ans stansds up to March. At the same time, you’ll find a rich cultural life: the Rovaniemi Theater and Korundi Cultural Center, the Science Centers Arktikum & Pilke, as well as vibrant summer and winter sports facilities, all just next door.
