I am a partner with another friend in a small independent holiday company called FTX Holidays which we have been running together since 1999. We offer holidays in Chamonix-Mt-Blanc, France and Porto Pollo, Sardinia, Italy. I am passionate about the mountains and the sea and spend as much of my free time as possible skiing, snowboarding, biking, kitesurfing, windsurfing, diving, wakeboarding, sailing and surfing. I am always more than happy to share the 10+ years of local knowledge in these 2 very special places i'm lucky enough to call home.

Luxury 7 bedroom chalet also available fully catered during the winter season! Chalet 715 has 7 spacious bedrooms and is on the South side of Chamonix, 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. The chalet features a huge open plan living room with central log fireplace, professional grade kitchen and hand made oak dining table for up to 16 people. The chalet is superbly equipped with fast wi-fi throughout, a large smart TV with UK channels and Netflix/Prime/Disney and a high end audio system with bluetooth/streaming. In the basement we have a heated ski/boot room and a large yoga/fitness/massage studio that doubles as a games room with a smart TV on the wall and games for children. The gym area leads through french doors to the 8 seater Jacuzzi on the decking outside with stunning views of Mt Blanc. Our housekeeper lives in the staff apartment below the chalet. They have their own entrance at the side and are available during your stay if required.

Winter or summer the mountains are magical places and few more so than the ones around Chamonix and Mt Blanc. If you're into your action sports then there's an endless supply of year round entertainment; skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, mountain biking, ice and rock climbing, rafting, mountaineering and more recently speedriding, basejumping and fly suits. In summer the valley really comes alive with walkers, bikers, climbers and anything that can take to the air. Chamonix is actually busier in August than it is in February a pretty unique position for a ski town. Charles Dickens described the Chamonix Valley better than I ever could when he said in 1846: “Mont Blanc and the valley of Chamonix, and the sea of Ice, and all the wonders of the most wonderful place are above and beyond one's wildest expectation. I cannot imagine anything in nature more stupendous or sublime.”
