Luxury holiday rentals in Haut-Savoie are a family tradition. As early as 1965, our parents were welcoming holidaymakers to a chalet that our father had built himself: 'Les Congères', so named because there was a lot of blowing snow there that isolated the farms in winter. We're brother and sister, and since 2011 we've taken over the family business with the aim of promoting the well-being of our guests, offering very comfortable accommodation in the Haute-Savoie with quality services. We own and operate our own accommodation. We offer chalets and flats in Le Grand Bornand and Manigod-La Clusaz. We invest every year to improve them so that your stay is as pleasant as possible.

With its spectacular views of the surrounding slopes and mountains, Chalet Joubarbe is a unique base from which to explore the Aravis mountains all year round. In autumn 2023, the garden level was completely refurbished, with the creation of a 50m2 wellness area featuring a leisure pool (spa and paddling pool for 8 people) and a solarium, in addition to the pre-existing sauna. In 2024, major work will be carried out between April and early December to completely renovate the two upper floors, including changing the woodwork, creating new windows and reinforcing the thermal insulation. The chalet will offer 4 double bedrooms and 2 bedrooms for 3 people. Each bedroom will have its own bathroom. Holidaymakers will be able to enjoy a new games room with table football and 2 extra beds. The chalet will sleep 14 people, or 16 in exceptional circumstances. The spacious living area will include a large, fully-equipped kitchen, a dining table for 14, and a lounge with a large, rounded sofa that will have a fireplace in its centre. Once there, park your car and forget about it: Joubarbe is on the edge of the picturesque village of Chinaillon (300 m), just a few minutes' walk from the morning croissants, or the restaurants and bars that will liven up your evenings. The Grand Bornand / Le Chinaillon resort's Family Plus classification guarantees plenty of activities for youngsters in both winter and summer. Joubarbe offers maximum comfort in a breathtakingly beautiful natural environment. We grew up in Le Chinaillon, so we can provide you with local, personalised advice to help you discover the best of the area and enjoy an authentic experience.

It's the ideal base for a stay in the heart of the mountains, whatever the season. Free shuttle buses stop at the end of the driveway in summer and winter. Chalet Joubarbe is just a few minutes' walk from the village, where you can pick up fresh bread and croissants every day, head to a restaurant for a typical Savoyard meal, or take a ride in the snow groomer and enjoy the cosy atmosphere in a mountain restaurant.
