My husband Bertrand and I welcome you to our home at Château de la Villeneuve. This 19th-century château has been carefully renovated by us over the past 10 years. You will stay in this place that combines modernity and period charm. Everything has been recently renovated and is perfectly maintained. We have taken care to decorate each room, which is well heated and air-conditioned. All the comforts of a guest house. You will have a private balcony, Wi-Fi and free secure parking. Charging stations are available for a fee based on electricity consumption. You can enjoy the grounds, the orangery and the shaded terrace for breakfast, a glass of local wine or a romantic dinner in the evening. Everything is designed for rest and tranquillity.
You will stay in my castle and I will come to welcome you personally and everything will be done to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The difference with a hotel is that the place is also my place of life and that I am alone to take care of breakfasts, reception and meals. Professionals assist me when cleaning and cleaning which is done with great care. I hope that you will be at my place, like at home and you will be welcomed there as friends.
The castle is located in the center of a village with a beautiful Romanesque church, and 5 minutes from the heart of the historic town. Chalon, the city of the inventor of photography, where you can visit the museum and see the first cliché in the world. We are 5 minutes from rue de Strasbourg, known for its many restaurants.We are 30 minutes from Beaune, a historic town with its hospices. And close to Cluny, the Chateau de Cormatin, the Chalonnaise coast with its wines such as Givry, Rully, Mercurey, Bouzeron... which you can taste on site. You have a lake for swimming, a swimming pool, the Saone with abllades by boat and an 18-hole golf course. Enough to enjoy this beautiful region of southern Burgundy in complete tranquility.
