This is a very old building dating from the late 19th century with a lot of character. I wanted to pay tribute to it by bringing it up to date. The small studios are part of this approach. They are very well insulated, cozy and comfortable and are perfect for a short break in Arles :)
I am a performing arts freelancer, working as an actor and technician. But I am also passionate about DIY, which is why I decided to take on the renovation of these studios myself. I did everything from A to Z with the help of friends over a year and a half :) I hope you will enjoy these little studios!
Stalingrad is a working-class neighborhood, one of the last in Arles. I really liked the people in this neighborhood, who are all very warm and welcoming and who all contributed something to me during this adventure. My neighbor across the street with a big heart, the iconic Arles bar Le Fontenoy, the little snack bar opposite that makes great tagines. In short, the place is lively but in the evening it finds its calm and becomes peaceful again.
