Named after the original owner Celine Peron who lived in Paris where she met her future husband , he was born in Carcassonne, she agreed to move south if her new house would be a replica of her Paris home , he built a copy , it must have been love !

Within a 200 metre walk of Villa Celine there are 2 restaurants; a bar ; an artisan boulongerie ; a mini-market; a bank with an ATM; the cave co-operative ; a bank and if you over indulge, a doctors and chemists. No need to drive, just enjoy a well equipped village that is surrounded by vineyards and lovely accessible countryside. We are situated in the centre of the village, which is also the starting point for several countryside walks with varying degrees of difficulty. Within 5 minutes of leaving the house you will be out of the village and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. At the edge of the village are a series of lagoons, perfect for outdoor eating, exploration and sunbathing. The added bonus being that the lagoons are peaceful and quiet during the week. Within a 20 minute drive are the Benedictine Abbeye de Lagrasse; the Cistercian Abbeye de Fontfroide and its beautiful gardens and the Chateau at Villerouge Termenes, inextricably linked with the Cathars. Also within a 20 minute drive is the Michelin 3 starred restaurant Auberge du Vieux Puits. Several of our guest's have eaten there and were impressed by great food and service that put them at ease.
