La Vita Dolce invites you to discover the perched village of Grambois, an authentic oasis of peace and harmony in the land of vineyards and lavender fields in the Luberon Regional Natural Park, a living and preserved space which extends over 185,000 hectares, classified as a biosphere reserve and global geo park by UNESCO. This old residence has been renovated while preserving its charm and typically Provençal character. It is located within the village walls, a stone's throw from the Place de la Mairie with its Bartavelles fountain, known for having been the setting for three films based on Marcel Pagnol's novels. Spread over two floors, the house offers a beautiful open loggia with panoramic views of the surrounding roofs, hills and vineyards. A serene and calm space, this terrace invites daydreaming and contemplation; you can recharge your batteries there after a day of visiting and discovering the remarkable surroundings: Ansouis, Cucuron, Vaugines, Lourmarin, Manosque are within a radius of 20 kilometers. La Vita Dolce offers you on the first floor of the house - on a bed and breakfast basis - a large double room with a large bathroom and separate toilet and a Panoramic Terrace-Loggia. The double room is also available for reservations of 3 or 4 persons with another connecting room. The house is decorated in the Provençal style of the house, but with a touch of Italian originality. Our breakfast offers good local products, croissants, jams, honey and orange juice; it will be served from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in La Loggia on the second floor or, if the weather does not permit, in the adjoining Fireplace Room. All guests will have at their exclusive disposal the Loggia Terrace (24 m2) featuring a summer kitchen, equipped with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, dining table, crockery, glasses. A garage is available to store your bicycles or motorcycles.

I am Italian, born in Rome. I moved to France 12 years ago with my husband Silvio who is a former hotel manager. After a few years spent in Nice, we chose to live in Provence, in the South Luberon, in the charming hilltop village of Grambois. The most important thing for us is the sweetness of life: "la vita dolce" to the calm rhythm of Provence, as a choice of life and welcome that we would like to share with those who, like us, love and respect the nature.

Grambois is located in the Pays d’Aigues region (South Luberon), a true cycling tourism paradise. Ideally located for visiting the lavender fields and vineyards, a few kilometers from the villages of La Tour d'Aigues, Ansouis, Cucuron, Lourmarin. The renowned Valensole lavender field are at 45 minutes drive as well as Manosque and Forcalquier. Nearby, Saint-Martin-de-la-Brasque with its lively Sunday market of small producers in the region and the Etang de la Bonde, a small lake at the foot of the Mourre Nègre, which offers a splendid setting and refreshing swims in nature. Aix en Provence is 35 minutes by car, the TGV station is 40 minutes, Marseille Marignane airport 50 minutes. Rustrel with its Colorado Provençal is 39 kilometers away.
