The Cottage de la Plage is perfectly situated in the heart of the delightful seaside resort of Cabourg. You'll find yourself just 500 meters from the beach, 300 meters from shops and restaurants, and a mere 150 meters from the Cabourg Market, which offers delicious local Normandy produce. This Cottage is a traditional stone and brick house, originally built by an architect at the beginning of the 20th century (whose name is still visible on the facade). It features a trendy, charming decor paired with all the modern comforts you need for a wonderful seaside holiday. The two bathrooms are especially useful after a day at the beach, and you can also relax and enjoy the 20m² deckchair terrace and the private bedroom balcony.
We are Catherine, Stéphane, and Paul Chatal, passionate winemakers at Domaine du Chat Blanc, located in the charming village of Saint-Didier in Provence. For over 20 years, our holiday home, "Le Cottage de la Plage", has been our family refuge in Cabourg. Bathed in light thanks to its south-facing exposure, it is nestled on a quiet street, directly opposite a small square, and just a stone's throw from the famous Cabourg market. Catherine has poured her heart into creating a place full of charm and a meticulous decoration that delights our guests. On-site, our neighbor, Isabelle, will have the pleasure of welcoming you. She will hand over the keys and show you around the house upon your arrival. Isabelle also takes care of preparing the beds and the end-of-stay cleaning (services included in the rental price). Of course, we remain available by phone or email should you have any questions during your stay."
It is always a genuine pleasure for us to stay here and enjoy the splendid Cabourg beach and its promenade, the restaurants just a few meters from the house, and to go shopping at the local Market or in the boutiques on Avenue de la Mer. As for activities, you are truly spoiled for choice : - Sailing, windsurfing, sand yachting, - Horse riding - Golf, miniature golf - Cycling, hiking - The Mickey Club for children - Proust Museum - Cinema (located 200m from the house) - Craft markets and street shows in Cabourg throughout the summer season - Exhibitions
