La Galiote and its large garden are situated right in front of the sea, on the very site of the landings of William the Conqueror during the 11th century, and of the British allies on 6 June 1944, as testified by the world-unique artificial harbour (Historical Monument) still perfectly visible from the house. With its direct access to the beach, 2-10 minute away on foot from shops and bus stop, this place is ideally suited for a person in search of calm and comfort in an ever-changing landscape, close to highly interesting cultural and natural sites. The villa is very comfortable for three, and may welcome up to five visitors. Please note that the veranda is sun-heated, thus cold in Winter. Please note that two videocameras operate outside (South side), either for safety when the house is not rented, or to facilitate keybox check-in. Otherwise they are de-activated.
