Par La Rivière is uniquely situated right on the banks of the Dordogne river, and is the perfect base for exploring the highlights of the Dordogne area. This stylish property offers three stunning designer suites available on a Bed and Breakfast basis. Each self-contained suite offers generously proportioned and tastefully furnished rooms all with an individual style. In addition, they all have their own separate lounge area to relax in and equipped with mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Outside they all have their own individual outdoor living space. Each suite enjoys lovely views of the 15m pool, surrounded by open gardens and walnut groves, and positioned on the riverbank with the lovely backdrop of the limestone cliff face of La Roque-Gageac.

As managers of the Par La Rivière estate, my husband Michael and I are responsible for the smooth running of the main house as well as its 3 Bed & Breakfast suites, along with the grounds and pool. We will be providing you with your breakfasts and are on hand to help you make the most of your stay with us. We live just a few minutes away in the pretty town of Cénac.

Par La Riviére is situated right on the banks of the Dordogne River. It is in the heart of the Périgord Noir region and within a short drive of many of France’s most beautiful towns, castles and top tourist sites. The stunning medieval city of Sarlat is 16km away and the famous bastide town of Domme is only 6km away. The beautiful village of La Roque-Gageac is also nearby and its outskirts can be seen from the property. At La Roque-Gageac you can rent a kayak on the Dordogne or sail on a gabarre. Both nearby Cénac and Domme have restaurants, bars and supermarkets and are a 10 minute drive from us. Some of the most famous châteaus of the Dordogne are within a short driving distance, including Castelnaud, Beynac, Marqueyssac and Milandes. You will never be short of an amazing place to visit.
