Our apartment is nestled under the roofs of the old town, in the heart of the historic Saint-Malo corsairs and ship owners. We had a crush for it in 2008 and we completely redone it at the end of 2015 (double glazing, insulation, wallpaper, decoration). It is located on the 4th and last floor, without elevator, but the staircase climbs almost on its own. We are the only apartment on the landing. Guaranteed quiet.
Journalists both of us, we are passionate about journeys which we bring back memories that dot our interior. Since 2015, our little boy Eliott has forced us to rethink the apartment, hence the baby room and the converted attic that we created as a cocoon. Lovers of Saint-Malo, we appreciate the charm in all seasons (and all weather conditions). If you wish, we will make sure to guide you in your discovery of the Cité Corsaire as of the surroundings.
Surrounded by centuries-old ramparts, and almost surrounded by the sea, Intra-Muros is the emblematic district of Saint-Malo. Once parked at the foot of the ramparts, you will be able to do without your vehicle and do all your shopping on foot, in a few hundred meters. Here, all shops (food, fashion, deco ...) are open even on Sundays. At 40 meters from the apartment, a Carrefour City store is open daily from 7 am to 9 pm (10 pm in summer) and 9 am to 1 pm on Sundays. Nearby, the rue de l'Orme offers bakery, fishmonger's, cheese-creamery (the famous Bordier butter), butcher shop, 4 seasons merchant, roaster and regional products. The beaches of Mole, Bon Secours and Sillon are 5 minutes away on foot.
