Queens Cottage is a large, delightful, detached holiday home in Colwyn Bay, Wales. This Cottage has five bedrooms: a ground floor large living room with comfortable leather reclining sofas, smart TV, sky family pack, Netflix and an electric fireplace. In addition a good size kitchen, a utility, and 10-12 seater dining table in a separate dining room. The dining room leads out into a wooden decking with an outdoor large dining table and chairs for all the guests. The entrance hall leads into the ground floor bedroom (1) with Twin beds, smart tv and Netflix. By the side of this bedroom is the ground floor WC and basin. Five steps down the entrance hall is the games room with a pool table and has an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC. On the way up to the First floor, 10 steps up comes the landing area in which a midlevel Family Bathroom contains the bath, WC and basin. By the side of this, on the mid-level landing is the Double bed (2) room. A further 10 steps up from the mid-level landing is the first floor having the king-size master bedroom (5) with en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC. Another double bedroom (4) is located on the first floor with a shared Jack-and-Jill walk-in shower, basin and WC, with a family bedroom (3) having twin beds and a balcony by 5 steps up containing another single bed. This cottage has a large garden area with car parking space for 3 cars onsite. Outside this cottage, there is ample off-road free parking. All guests must comply with the recently issued Recycling Regulations in Wales. Full details of this Wales Workplace Recycling (April 2024) are available online in Google search and in the 'information folder' at the property. Neighbourhood information The Queen's Cottage is situated in a quiet residential area. Nearer to the National Express Bus Stop ( 100 Meters), Colwyn Bay Train Station is 1km away, Welsh Mountain Zoo is 1.5 km away and Colwyn Bay Beach by 1 km walking distance. Colwyn Bay is a delightful town with plenty of things to do. This town has a long promenade stretching many miles from Old Colwyn to Penrhyn Bay and gives easy access to the wonderful beach, pier and harbour at Rhos-on-Sea. The ideal place to enjoy the sunshine, can stroll along the beautiful unspoilt promenade with its wide walkway, dedicated cycling tracks, fishing, and enjoy some refreshments at the kiosks situated all along the walkway of the beach. Besides the shopping, the town has Welsh Mountain Zoo which is just 1.5km away from the cottage and has plenty of places to walk and climb around the cottage. One can reach golf courses nearby within minutes by driving. The town has a leisure centre at Eirias, gardens, bowling greens, tennis courts, and an athletics stadium. The cinemas are 5 miles away by drive at Llandudno Junction. By being located in the centre of North Wales and the cottage being situated just 1 km off the motorway (A55), one can reach any destination or attractions nearby in North Wales within an hour of driving.
