We are on the Tram Route. We welcome visitors to Edinburgh from all over the world, and from right across the UK. Whether you are travelling solo, as a couple, with family or as part of a group, we have a range of rooms available to suit your needs, all set within a beautiful traditional Edinburgh Victorian townhouse.

By basing yourself at the Abbotsford, you are well placed to explore Edinburgh Castle, the National Museum of Scotland, two out of the four National Galleries of Scotland, the Royal Botanical Gardens, and the port of Leith, home to the Royal Yacht Britannia – to name only a few attractions. You are also very close to the Omni gym and cinema complex and Edinburgh Playhouse theatre, allowing you to make the most of Edinburgh by night or day. And in summer festival season, it’s easy to get to a wide range of venues on foot or by Bus or Tram
