Hi, my name is Ming. I am a neurosurgeon. My partner, Ed, is an independent social worker specialising in assessing child adoption and fostering. We live near Gatwick Airport, which is very convenient not only for commuting for work but also for travelling all over the world, including our lovely holiday home in Newquay Cornwall. We love to travel around the world and cherish different culture and diverse nature.

Newquay is optimally located to allow access to many attractions that Cornwall has to offer, including spectacular natural scenery, delicious cuisines, beautiful subtropical gardens, and diverse wildlife. Our new holiday apartment is strategically located between Tolcarne and Lusty Glaze Beaches. The stunning sea views from the Apartment remind us of the magnificent seas of clouds seen from the top of Mount Alishan in Taiwan, hence we call our new holiday home Alishan. Indeed, our Cornish Alishan is easily accessible all over the UK and beyond. The Newquay Cornwall Airport is just five miles away; from there, Newquay can be connected to London Gatwick and Manchester, where year round flight connections to major UK and world cities cannot be easier. During summer, there are additional direct flights from Dublin, Birmingham, Newcastle, Edinburgh, and Düsseldorf. Although Alishan is close to the bustling Newquay town centre and beaches, the evergreen Barrowfileds in front of Alishan preserves her naturally acquired tranquillity. Given the perfect location and stunning views, we had no hesitation in possessing Alishan. We adore Alishan very much and believe our guests will do as well.

Alishan fulfils all benefits for holidaymakers, who dream of freedom, relaxation, exploration, and economy blended together. If the convenient and inexpensive Tesco within one minute walk cannot satisfy your choice, you can find it in big supermarkets like Sainsbury, Asda and Aldi by walking for another 5 to 10 minutes towards the town centre. You may do this by walking leisurely along the scenic South West Coast Path in front of the Apartment. If you prefer to eat out, Newquay has a wide range of restaurants to suite all tastes. On foot, Tolcarne Beach and Lusty Glaze Beach 1 minute, Newquay Station 5 minutes, Town Centre 10 minutes, Zoo 15 minutes, and Golf Course 25 minutes. If you prefer buses, the bus stops for Kilbirnie Hotel are immediately outside the Apartment, which can take you to Padstow, Eden Project, Truro, many other attractions, and even Plymouth. However, if you would like to explore every corner in Cornwall, you may choose to drive, cycle or book a day tour by bus. There is an allocated car park and secure, indoor bicycle racks for Alishan. If you would like to visit Isles of Scilly, you may fly from Newquay, which takes only 30 minutes.
