Alston Hall, a three-storey family home, consists of eighteen bedrooms, seventeen of which have en-suite bathrooms. On the ground floor is an open plan kitchen / breakfast room with double oven, invisible induction hobs, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, a separate dining room, which can seat 30 people, a hall with seating area, two sitting rooms and a a snooker room. There is an indoor swimming pool, a seasonal unheated outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court, a play area, three acres of lawns and gardens and an enclosed walled garden with furniture. Off-road parking for fourty cars. Travel cot and highchair available. Three well-behaved dogs welcome first dog free a fee will be charged for extra dogs. Sorry no smoking. Beach 1.4 miles, shop 2.8 miles, pub 2.9 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Mothecombe Beach is an unspoilt sandy beach situated in a sheltered cove at the mouth of the River Erme estuary, owned and maintained by the Flete Estate. Known for being one of the quieter beaches in Devon, yet easily accessible from the car park you'll find plenty of room for games and water activities. Pets are not permitted on the beach between the 1st May to 30th September. Heading just over a mile inland is Battisborough Cross, a wonderful village resting between Membland and Holbeton in Devon and ideally located within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, well-known for its plethora of scenic walks, bike rides and stunning beaches. Your local amenities can be found in the nearby village of Newton Ferrers, where you can dine at the Dolphin Inn, or stock up on essentials at the convenience store and delicatessen. Continue onto Bovisand, home to a beautiful family-friendly beach and bay, as well as a picturesque harbour, the Watch House Battery, a café, and the nearby Mussel Inn. Further afield, you’ll find the bustling port city of Plymouth, where you’ll find many attractions, including the National Marine Aquarium, National trust – Saltram, The Box, Royal William Yard, Devil’s Point and the Plymouth Gin Distillery.
