Designed to accommodate up to six guests the cottage features a kitchen, downstairs bathroom that includes a shower/bath combination. A cosy living room with a large log-burner of which lies a separate dining room. The downstairs bedroom also features a small wood burning stove and a king size bed. Upstairs comprises of a two twin bedrooms and a large walk in wardrobe. There is also a sunroom affording views of the surrounding countryside towards the Lecht Ski centre. An outside lockable shed is ideal storage for all your outdoor gear.

Alltachbeg cottage is located 1 mile outside of Tomintoul within the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands. The cottage is perfectly positioned to enjoy the great outdoors, be it walking in the Cairngorms, or cycling on quiet roads. For the more adventurous, the renowned Glenlivet Mountain bike trails are a mere 4 miles away. Winter sports are available at the Lecht Ski Centre, which is only 3 miles away, or the Cairngorm Mountain Resort, which is an hour’s drive. Hunting and fishing are both available on the Strathavon Estate. Prior arrangements must be made for these aforementioned activities. A large number of famous Whisky and Gin distilleries, providing tours and sampling are within 30 minutes drive. There is also a plethora of top quality Golf Courses within driving distance. Aberdeen Airport is 58 miles and Inverness Airport 61 miles from the cottage, roughly 1.5 hours drive.
