Company information

We really enjoy working with owners to ensure that their properties are beautifully kept and maintained, and sharing the secrets of what the capital city, and Scotland have to offer our guests. Celia, who runs Beautiful Holiday Homes, has worked in both marketing and property for over 10 years. On the side she has also done a fair amount of restaurant reviewing, and having previously run a lifestyle management company she is always happy to share recommendations or go that bit further to ensure guests have the prefect stay. Sonia, joined the Beautiful Holiday Homes team from a luxury hotel management background and knows first hand the importance of customer service. Sonia is also a foodie who loves to travel herself so knows first hand what guests expect. We only take on properties that the we ourselves would like to stay in and currently have a beautiful selection of properties that is constantly growing, so if the first property you enquire about isn't available then we will always try and help by suggesting another lovely property that is. Please do not hesitate to get in touch should you be thinking about a trip!

Property information

Following the huge success of The Croft at Fleuchary, I'm delighted to introduce the brand new Armadale Farm Cottage. Located just a few minutes outside the sleepy village of Bettyhill, you'll find this majestic little cottage which can sleep 4 lucky guests, Following a huge renovation to the highest standard, this 2 bed cottage is going to offer our guests an incredibly special home away from home. There are 2 bathrooms and a toilet room, snug mezzanine and a fully equipped kitchen. Hunker down in the lounge space in front of the wood-burning stove and count your blessings that you've found yourself in this hidden gem.

Neighbourhood information

The NC500 is so much more than just a road trip. This location gives all year round. The nearest village is Bettyhill, where you'll find the a small shop with essential items. The Store (bar and cafe) offers a bit of everything, A cafe by day, a bar by night and bits and bobs to buy from the shop too. The nearby Flow Country is bursting with an array of wildlife and unique species of birds. The newly announced and first UNESCO peatland site has lessons to teach on the importance from the most intact and extensive blanket bog system in the world. Stretching across Caithness and Sutherland in the far north of Scotland the vast expanse of blanket bog comprises a complex set of interlinked pool systems and micro features that not only host an eye-catching flora and fauna but also play a vital role in our defence against the effects of climate change. From above the land is a mottled pattern of peat and pools, their colours shifting like an opal. But look a little closer and you’ll find a world of amazing plants, rare birds, and a place to be inspired by peace and space. Castle Mey, Smoo Cave, Melvich Bay and Dunrobin Castle are all within driving distance while staying at the cottage and offer a great day trip without trekking miles from your base!
