Property Description Our home is a detached house with private driveway parking available for guests. Your booking includes one comfortable double room featuring a king-size bed, conveniently located on the ground floor with a private bathroom situated just across the hall. We live upstairs as a family of three and share our home with two friendly dogs. Guests have access to their own bedroom, the private bathroom, and our shared garden, which is a lovely space to relax in during your stay. A continental breakfast is provided daily from April to September, served between 7:00–9:00 a.m. in our dining area. From October to March, breakfast will be delivered to your room for your comfort. Please note that we do not offer daily room cleaning or bed-making services. The room and bathroom are thoroughly cleaned before your arrival and after your departure. For longer stays, we will refresh the bathroom and provide clean towels as needed. Fresh bed linen and towels are included in the booking price.

This area is located on the outskirts of Truro, in the quaint rural village of Shortlanesend. We are just a five-minute drive from the main A30, making it a convenient base for exploring all parts of Cornwall. The village features a small shop. Nearby, there is a cycling lane that leads into the city, as well as a rental service for electric bikes, available via an app. Just down the road lies the beautiful Idless Woods and a charming tea room called Cows and Sows. For additional amenities, you will need to drive into Truro or to nearby coastal towns. There is a bus service that operates approximately once an hour into the city, where connections to other buses and trains around Cornwall are available. However, it's important to note that getting around Cornwall is significantly easier with a car. If you plan to rely on public transport, be prepared for longer travel times, as it can take a substantial portion of the day to get from one place to another!
