A centrally located five-storey Georgian town house, built in 1791 and home, in the nineteenth century of celebrated artist Benjamin Barker. Your suite includes a four-poster bed and en-suite shower and w.c. with your own adjacent large private Drawing Room. This suite occupies the whole of the first-floor of the house. This is room rate only. ( without breakfast.) A delightful level 10 mins. walk along Great Pultney Street, takes you to the famous Pultney Bridge, The Roman Baths, The Thermae Spa, the Pump Rooms, and Bath Abbey . There are also two beautiful Georgian parks nearby and we’re only 5 mins. walk from The Holburne and the Victoria Museums. We do have friendly pet cats which spend most of the time away in the bottom of the house. If you see them feel free to interact as little or as much as you like.

I work in Television but also enjoy hosting visitors to this inspiring “World Heritage” city of Bath; especially when I’m between contracts!!!

If I only even had 2 hours in Bath, I'd spend it all at the Roman Baths. But also up there are The Holborne Museum, the preserves Georgian house that is Number One, The Royal Crescent, climbing up on he Tower tour of the Abbey, a sightseeing bus trip and swimming at the Thermae Spa. There's always a lot going on , so check-out tourist information by visiting the visitbath website. There are nearly 300 places to eat and drink... all within walking distance. Our favourites are definitely The Ivy in Milsom Street, Sotto sotto and Dough ( both Italian ) The Pump Rooms, ( opened 1789 next to Roman Baths ) and also Browns or The Architect, ( both next to the Abbey, ) a great Napalese at Yak Yeti Yak, ,The Wild Cafe and about a hundred others. Pop in to those that take your fancy. The standard is high, so you can't go far wrong. See you later, Pete
